STOP what you are doing and RUN OVER FOR THE RESTAURANT WEEK MENU!!!!! Everything we had was DIVINE!!! Crab topped shrimp scampi ✔️ walnut salad ✔️ Blackened redfish ✔️ ✔️ hummingbird cake ✔️ Walnut Old fashioned ✔️ ✔️ Even the vegan option was delish!!! The service was amazing and they really take care of you too!

I always come to Black Walnut for Brunch. The chicken & waffles are amazing along with the grits & eggs. My food is always delicious. I've sat outside & inside, both experiences were great. Customer service rating is professional. Overall 10/10!

The amount of quality options are great. Kimchi breakfast bowl is good, meat was a tad dry but a solid 4/5 stars. Chocolate croissant was also good, however quite chewy.

We celebrated my son and fiancé the night before they were to be wed. Janine and her staff went above and beyond to make this experience the very best. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious and our guests loved having choices. It truly was the perfect venue for what we were wanting to celebrate these two very special loved ones. Thank you again for the best night.

The overall experience at Black Walnut Café was pretty cool. I really liked that there are a couple of different ways you can order, which felt unique and convenient. It made the process fun and a little different than your usual dining spot. The prices are also super affordable, which is always a plus, and I love that there are different seating areas so you can choose where you want to sit depending on your mood. Walking right in and finding a spot was easy, and I thought that part of the setup was great. Where it fell short for me was the food. I really wanted to love this place, but I found the flavors to be pretty bland and not very exciting. It was not bad, but it just didn’t stand out. Since some of my clients have been asking about more brunch spots, my husband and I tried it out to see if it might be a place I could bring people to. Unfortunately, it did not quite meet the expectation I had in mind. That said, I can absolutely see why people enjoy it. The atmosphere is relaxed, the setup is unique, and the experience itself was pleasant. For me personally, the food just wasn’t it, so I am not sure if I will be back.
